DoorLedger Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026 · Den Digital LLC

DoorLedger helps rental property owners track property finances, categorize transactions, reconcile bank statements, and prepare tax-ready reports. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.

Account, property, and transaction data

We collect your account email, the property and transaction data you create, and read-only bank transaction data you choose to connect. Property and transaction data may include property names, addresses, unit details, categories, rules, reconciliation records, transaction descriptions, dates, amounts, and related bookkeeping notes.

Bank connections

Bank connections are provided by Plaid Inc. We never see or store your bank username or password. Plaid's handling of your data is governed by Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.

Bank access tokens are stored encrypted on our servers and are never present in the mobile app.

AI categorization

Transaction descriptions may be processed by an AI service (Anthropic) solely to suggest bookkeeping categories. We do not send bank credentials or personal identifiers to the AI categorization service.

Retention and deletion

We retain your data until you delete your account. To request deletion, email support@dendigital.us. We delete associated DoorLedger account, property, transaction, bank connection, and synced bookkeeping data within 30 days unless we must keep limited information for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.

What we do NOT do

Children

DoorLedger is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
